UNWIND: SELF-CARE SUNDAYS

Anyone that really knows me can attest to the fact that I take “Self-care Sundays” very seriously!


You are more than your job... Remember that! The weekends are for unwinding. We all need to disconnect from the grind once and a while. Sunday is the perfect time to reset and prepare your mind for another “Manic Monday”. 🤗


💡 5 SELF-CARE TIPS TO DE-STRESS 💡


(1) Dedicate 5 to 10 minutes to carve out calm. You owe yourself that moment to meditate, pray or just take a deep breath.


(2) Oh the magic of morning music 😲🎶! As soon as you get up, put on your favorite tune, then sing and dance like no one’s watching.


(3) Catch up with close friends and/or family over a cup of coffee or hot tea!


(4) Read a book and switch off your phone data. Maybe use the offline time to sit as a family and talk instead of reading a book. Either way, unplug! This one is a little hard, I know... but it can be good to give your mind a break from constantly being plugged in.


(5) This one is my personal favorite! Go on a walk or hike. Getting grounded in nature is another great way to disconnect from technology, stress and obligations.
