Collaborative Leadership

In leading my team I use a multitude of leadership styles, but in my opinion, the most beneficial I would have to say is Collaborative Leadership! 👍🏾

This is a newer concept, but I believe it is so important in today’s turbulent business environment if you wish to have continual success. Today leaders often function in highly networked, team-based, and partnership-oriented work environments. Under these circumstances a plethora of knowledge is required in making wise choices amid complexity and uncertainty.

It can be extremely difficult at times to keep an open mind, but learning to collaborate and build influential partnerships within your organization is a key skill to develop. It’s the way to go! 🙌🏾

Collaboration combines the knowledge, experience and creativity of others and creates shared accountability. In addition, collaborative leadership and the creation of collaborative cultures can harness the knowledge and expertise of all stakeholders to innovate, partner effectively, compete, and most importantly win. 💯
